Drama Used to Psifeed?
One thing you see a lot of times in the community is “oh drama someone is feeding!” But how true is this statement? Are people in the community really that bad simply because they are hungry or are feeding?
From what Ive learned and have talked with on many others first of all is that distance feeding takes time, work and effort. Some folks can reach great distances, and others have limits. Simply how it is, and most of that is in truth found out by practice and experimentation and putting in alot of work and effort. They don’t simply awaken and start feeding across the globe. Most who feed unknown or uncontrolled tend to feed on those closest to them. One of the reasons learning about it is important. So you aren’t hurting those closest to you in person.
So with knowing that…why do people think drama means folks are feeding, especially new folks? It makes zero sense.
Yes when folks are hungry or need to feed they DO tend to be moodier, or easier to set off or get into disagreements and create drama. However that does not mean they are feeding on it at the least. There is a term called “Hangry” or “angry due to hunger” which tends to be the cause more so than “feeding off drama”.
Honestly to me i think its simply folks either a.) like to cause drama and stir the pot, b.) are hangry or c.) are trolls or simply ignorant to how things work in the world of the vampiric.
Yes if there is drama and it is intense folks can feel drained or other emotions. That is actually pretty human. For instance if one friend is in a bad mood and showing it it can effect all those around them. Also is the old saying of “the manager sets the tone” in a work environment. If the boss is in a bad mood or happy mood, it tends to filter down to the rest of the staff. No feeding or draining involved. Its simply basics of human social concepts and interactions.
I hope this helps dismiss the myth that folks only cause drama to feed and that there is actually other reasons for it. Some not in their control and some fully in their control, as well as some who refuse to admit what type of person they are or take responsibility for themselves.
