One thing that can come in handy is storing energy in objects. For those good at pulling energy this is extremely handy. You can store it in anything however I have found for me that stones work the best. Storing energy can have many uses. It can be used for energy to help power a spell or ritual if you cannot gather it up quickly so you do not use your own personal reserves. It can be used to maintain shielding. It can be used to take hits as a sort of decoy. It can be a tasty snack for some of you. As well as a plethora of other uses. Only limit is your own creativity.
How you do this is really rather simple. Find an object you feel comfortable with and either hold it or put your hands on it depending on its size and weight. Pull or call energy to you like you normally would. Once it comes rather than taking it into you, or into a spell..you put it into the object. To note different objects and how you are with them can determine how much they can store. Every object seems to have a limit in my experience so it will take some time to figure it out with trial and error and by doing.
Once that is done you need to lock it in so it only comes out to you. You could do it by imagining a lock on the object and you as the key. Draw or paint a sigil on it if you think that would work best. It will store and lock the energy inside of the object so you can use it at a later time.
To call it or use it is just as easy as putting it in. Instead of asking or pulling energy or calling it from around you simply focus on the object and pull it or call it from there.
